Plant extract production relies on water or ethanol leaching to obtain functional active ingredients from herbs, fruits and agricultural raw materials. The freshly obtained crude extract inevitably contains fine plant fibers, cell debris, insoluble starch, pectin colloids and tiny suspended particles. These complex impurities are difficult to eliminate through conventional filtration methods. If retained in the feed liquid, they will cause turbidity and precipitation of finished products, block downstream membrane systems, reduce production efficiency, and affect the color, purity and stability of plant functional ingredients.
Traditional pretreatment processes have obvious limitations.
