With the rapid expansion of global dairy manufacturing scale, milk processing, whey separation and dairy cleaning links produce large volumes of high-concentration organic wastewater. This wastewater contains residual milk protein, lactose, grease and inorganic salts. The integrated unit adopts sanitary anti-pollution RO membrane elements, 304 stainless steel closed pipelines, high-pressure circulation pumps, PLC automatic pressure control system and full-automatic CIP chemical cleaning unit. In complete dairy production lines, RO membrane wastewater recovery systems are installed at the tail of the pretreatment sedimentation process. After removing large particle fat and protein residues, diluted wastewater enters the reverse osmosis unit for deep purification. Clean permeate water is stored in sterile water tanks for repeated production use, while concentrated organic liquid is collected for centralized recovery treatment. For medium and small dairy workshops with limited site area, compact integrated RO skids can be directly matched with existing separation equipment without large-scale factory reconstruction. For large-scale whey processing factories, multi-stage RO combined systems can be customized to improve water recovery efficiency and reduce sewage discharge to the outside world.

The standard operation flow of dairy wastewater RO membrane system includes wastewater pretreatment security filtration, high-pressure cross-flow circulation, pure water recycling collection, concentrated liquid discharge, and regular membrane CIP cleaning. Pretreated wastewater is boosted by high-pressure pumps and flows through the RO membrane module in cross-flow state. Pure water penetrates the membrane and flows into the reuse water tank; organic pollutants, grease and salts are trapped in the concentrated liquid side and discharged regularly.
