In the industrial production of traditional Chinese medicine and botanical extracts, massive wet herbal residues are inevitably generated after effective ingredient leaching and filtration. These waste residues contain a large amount of residual extracting solution, plant fibers and colloidal substances. Based on the principle of centrifugal sedimentation, the high-speed rotating drum forms a strong centrifugal force field. Solid herbal fibers with higher density rapidly settle on the inner wall of the drum and are continuously pushed out by the differential screw conveyor, while the residual extracting liquid with active ingredients is separated and recovered.

The whole dewatering process is carried out in a fully enclosed and automatic state, realizing 24-hour uninterrupted continuous production without filter aids or disposable consumables.
