Membrane separation technology has become a preferred solution for whey protein processing in modern food industry. It efficiently completes concentration, desalination and purification for whey liquid without high‑temperature evaporation, protecting natural protein activity.

In whey processing, after membrane filtration, feed liquid is divided into two streams: retentate (concentrate) and permeate (filtrate).
