Pu'er tea is a famous fermented tea widely used in functional drinks, health supplements and instant tea powder. To produce high-quality Pu'er tea extract, manufacturers need gentle processing to retain tea polyphenols, theabrownin and natural tea aroma. Hollow fiber membrane and spiral wound membrane technology provides an effective solution for tea liquid clarification and concentration.

In the traditional process, hot extracted Pu'er tea broth contains fine tea particles, proteins and colloids. These impurities will cause turbidity and precipitation in finished tea extract. Compared with high-temperature concentration, the spiral membrane process protects heat-sensitive tea aroma and bioactive compounds, cuts energy consumption and improves the yield of Pu'er tea extract.
