Traditional lemon juice clarification using diatomaceous earth and plate-frame filters often loses natural flavor and consumes large amounts of filter aids. Cross-flow membrane filtration achieves low-temperature clarification of lemon juice, intercepting pulp, pectin and macromolecular impurities while preserving vitamins and aroma substances. Two mainstream membrane types, hollow fiber membrane and ceramic membrane, are available. The skid-mounted system supports automatic CIP cleaning, delivering stable clear filtrate with longer shelf life. Lab trials can be conducted to confirm performance before industrial deployment.
